Miklós Németh Csepeli (1934-2012) painter, from 1950 to 1954 he attended the painting school of Ödön Márffy. His masters were: István Ilosvai Varga, Emil Gádor, Tóth Menyhért. He took part in the work of the artist colonies of Tokaj and Telkibánya. In 1996, he was awarded the István Ilosvai Varga Award. The subjects of his paintings, which he creates with expressive, surreal features, are mostly nudes, still lifes and emotianal moments. His art can be classified as Art brut, but he can also be a punk artist or a new expressionist."

He was characterized by an unwavering dedication to his artwork, and neither his sickness nor his financial situation could prevent him from doing what he felt. In certain periods, he painted on his own furnitures, these works occupy a special place in Németh's oeuvre.

The diversity of human relationships and feelings are common motifs in his pictures. Behind the first impression which is the colorful lightness in his paintings, you can discover a deeper world in many of his works.
